We are excited that our therapists will, once again, be working with the Cambridge University Athletics Club. One of our previous highlights whilst working with them was to have the opportunity to attend and provide treatment at Lee Valley Athletics Centre and the assisting in the Varsity 4-0 win in 2015. We were proud to be supporting the transatlantic match in June 2019 which involved helping both the Cambridge University Athletics Team and Oxford University Athletics Team in a fixture versus Harvard Track and Field and Yale Athletics.

In 2010, Megan went to the National Athletics Championships, where she was able to shadow the Head Physiotherapist from England Athletics. Richard also uses his sporting background to relate to the demands that such a discipline can have on the body; he set the fastest sprint times in the country during a Talent ID session for Bobskeleton in 2006.

We are also proud of be working with some elite para-athletes including Richard Browne, the current T44 world record holder for the 60m, 100m and 200m. We have been working with Richard since the build up to the IPC World Athletics Championships in Doha 2015 where he became the 100m and 200m World Champion.

“I am currently a student athlete and have been working with Fit Again Sports Therapy for close to three years now. Not only have they helped with rehabilitation following muscular damage including two strained hamstrings, but they have also been a great source of advice for injury prevention through my training calendar.

They are an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced team who are able to assist with any multi sport physiotherapy need. Would recommend to anyone of any age or degree of professionalism.” Will Morris, Cambridge University Athletics Club President.

“Fit Again Sports Therapy have undoubtably made the lives of every member of Cambridge University Athletics Club a whole lot easier with their weekly physio. Not only have we received excellent physical therapy, the advice and exercises passed on have meant that we have been able to continue therapy while at home or during sessions. Not only brilliantly professional, but always willing to go the extra mile to help the team out. Thank you Fit Again Sports Therapy, you have been irreplaceable for the team and its individuals.” Roisin Beck-Taylor, CUAC athlete
