Running

“Richard and the various member of his team have consistently provided excellent advice, massage, exercises and importantly general care in all the visits I have made over the past 5 years. As an athlete I have always been impressed with how they have enabled me to keep active as much as possible through injury (safely) without simply being told to “rest up”. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic for a professional, personalised and personable service”

The most amazing Sports Therapists and Physiotherapists one could ever meet. They saw me grow from a total non runner to a sub 4hr marathon runner! Not only do they keep me in shape but also keeps my crazy thoughts on track, when the maranoia kicks in! Simply the best in the business thank you.”

“Since knowing these guys, I have successfully run 20 marathons; this would not have been possible without their help.”

I couldn’t recommend Richard and the team at F.A.S.T highly enough – after almost a year of successive stress fractures and plantar fasciitis so bad I could barely even walk never mind run, my spirits were so low, I finally sought professional help. I was seen within a matter of days, and within of only two weeks (16 days to be precise) of highly effective targeted rehabilitation therapy and a clear programme of supportive flexibility maintenance advice, I was finally able to recommence running training again both injury and pain free – it’s a revelation! Now only a month or so later, I managed my first half marathon distance just this last weekend. Thank you SO much!!

Through bouts of long term injury Richard was able to offer brilliant cross training and strengthening advice to make sure my stress fracture healed as quickly as possible and I was back racing to peak fitness in a matter of weeks. I also used the clinic for regular sports massages during weeks of heavy volume training which made massive difference to my race performance. I am yet to meet a therapist with such flexibility, dedication and premium physiological knowledge. Anyone who chooses not to use this service is depriving themselves of a highly valuable therapist who values an athlete’s health and fitness over profit.

I’ve received fantastic treatment by multiple members of the Fit Again Sports Therapy team over the last three years. The sports therapy I’ve had has aided my performance significantly and helped me recover more quickly from injuries. Would definitely recommend the FAST team!!

“I have been supported by Megan and Richard through my journey from couch potato to being marathon fit. As well as treatment, they both provided focused exercises to prevent injury reoccurrence. I have received excellent advice and am very happy to recommend their services.”

Paul, Recreational Runner

“I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to Rich and Megan for everything they did on the HOPE Tour, where a group us set about running 12 marathons in 12 days from for the charity HOPEHIV. They prepared us brilliantly, checking us over and setting us individualised exercise programmes which included strength and flexibility work.

Their enthusiasm and constant support was such an enormous boost to us, and the moment we finished we were in their capable hands. The therapy we received on a daily basis – both pre and post run – was exceptional. I am sure we weren’t thanking them at the time as we lay on the table, but working through those muscles for us saw us all through, completely injury-free, which is quite remarkable! They were also endlessly positive and upbeat which is so important during such a challenge, in which losing spirit can be as detrimental as any bodily injury.

I can honestly say I don’t think any of us would have made it through to the finish line without their help. I can’t recommend them highly enough. THANK YOU!”
