2023: MSc Sports Therapy
2021: BSc (Hons) Sports and Exercise Science
Lead therapist with Anglia Ruskin Basketball Club
Claudia graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Gloucestershire in 2021. Whilst completing her dissertation investigating gender differences in ACL injuries, she realised her main passion revolved around sports injuries so began to specialise in this entity. Claudia continued her studies to complete an MSc in Sports Therapy.
Experience
During her masters degree, she shadowed the medical staff at Aston Villa FC grassroots, gaining valuable pitch-side and clinical experience. She also completed a placement year at F.A.S.T. where she had the opportunity to work alongside some Cambridge University sports teams and with recreational athletes through charity events. During the summer she worked with Rugby League Ireland during their ‘Student 4 Nations’ camp, providing pitch-side and rehabilitation services.
Sport
Claudia has loved football and athletics from a young age. She played for Southampton Ladies from 2010-13, and later decided to take up Athletics, competing in regional events. She returned to playing football at university where she captained the women’s first team during the 2020-21 season. Although she still participates in sport, her main focus currently lies in the gym.
