2026: BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy
2024/25: Full time placement year with Fit Again Sports Therapy
Bethany completed a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree at the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with First Class Honours.
Bethany joined the F.A.S.T. team as a placement student in 2024 gaining extensive experience within a busy clinical environment. Alongside her placement, she worked pitch-side for Deepings Rugby Football Union Club, providing immediate assessment and pitch-side medical support on training and match days.
In addition to rugby, Bethany has worked with athletes from a variety of sports, including football, basketball and athletics, developing experience in injury assessment, rehabilitation planning and treatment. Bethany has also provided soft tissue therapy at the London Marathon and the University of Cambridge Athletics Varsity competition, supporting athletes before and after competition.
Sport
Having played netball for over 15 years, Bethany has a strong understanding of the physical demands of sport and the importance of effective injury prevention and rehabilitation. During her time at the University of Hertfordshire, Bethany was a member of the leadership team for one of the university’s netball teams and was a part of the team to win the Southern Conference Cup Final. She has also recently caught the Hyrox bug and enjoys hybrid training.
