Common questions
Prices, appointments and choosing care
Which therapist level should I choose?
Choose the Director Sports Therapists and Senior Physiotherapists for complex injuries, specialist physiotherapy or second opinions; Leslie for advanced sports injury rehabilitation; or Bethany for new injuries, rehabilitation support and sports massage. If you are unsure, contact us and we will recommend the right clinician.
What is an enhanced injury consultation?
It includes a 50-minute injury consultation plus a pre-appointment telephone call. Your therapist will arrange the call, usually for the day before, so they can understand your history and maximise the clinical time available.
Which appointment length should I book?
Choose an enhanced consultation for a new injury when a pre-appointment history call would help. A 50-minute appointment can be used for a new injury consultation, longer follow-up or sports massage. A 25-minute appointment is suitable for an injury follow-up or shorter sports massage.
Can I book an online appointment?
Yes. Rich offers 30-minute virtual appointments for £20, suitable for focused advice when an in-person physical assessment is not required.
When do the new prices begin?
The new prices apply to appointments from 15 August 2026.
How can I get a short-notice appointment with Rich?
Additional appointments with Rich are released online every Sunday at 7pm for the following Wednesday evening at the Cambridge United Football Stadium clinic. Availability is limited. These are urgent sports injury clinic appointments and are not intended for medical emergencies.
